Life with Jesus for the Renewal of the City

Redeemer Fellowship of Edgehill is in a season of becoming. We're a new church plant gathering people, praying, and dreaming together about the kind of church we long to be—a church where anyone can find belonging, ask real questions, and encounter Jesus.

And we believe Edgehill is the place for it.

Edgehill is a neighborhood of influence, passion, resilience, pain and isolation. Within this 1.5-square-mile pocket, the city’s contrasts come together—where neighbors from all walks of life share the same space, from million-dollar homes to public housing. And neighbors no matter where they are coming from carry the weight of burn-out, tired of the rat race trying to keep up with the demands of the city, loneliness -- longing to be connected to real people in an overly connected digital world, depression about state of their own lives or the world around them and more.
In the next five years, over 3,400 new residential units will rise, and in twenty years, tens of thousands more people will call this neighborhood home. The city’s plans are full of retail, restaurants, and residential buildings, but there’s something missing: the Church. As churches get swallowed up by development, a spiritual gap is growing in one of the most rapidly changing neighborhoods in
Nashville.

Here lies the opportunity: we need the steady witness of the gospel of Jesus in our rapidly developing and demanding neighborhood.
